STEAM4ALL Kick-Off Meeting – Online

? The world is in constant change; thus, though a critical STEAM education, students can learn how to adapt to new and different situations. We are preparing students for jobs and environments that might not exist right now. – Marilupe Hren (Math Teacher)

Digitisation and Industry 4.0 are perhaps the most important drivers behind the profound transformation of the labour market and the way people work which has resulted in an increased demand of digital skills. In order to reinforce the above, the EU Commission has revealed its actions for a digital transformation which focuses on the EU society powered by digital solutions, that opens up new opportunities for business and boosts the development of trustworthy technology while equipping young people with digital skills for a competitive future.

? The new KA2 Erasmus+ project ” STEAM4All – Empowering Future Generations – Supporting The Digital Inclusion of All Students Through an Inter-Disciplinary Programme for a Sustainable Future” aims to ensure social inclusion, access and participation of ALL STUDENTS, through the design, development and evaluation of an INCLUSIVE TOOL KIT and EDUCATIONAL PACK for developing, implementing and monitoring various strategies aiming to promote STEAM skills in formal or non-formal settings, based on the creation of PARTNERSHIPS/SYNERGIES between the schools, stakeholders and the labour market.

? On the 3rd of February 2021, the Kick-off meeting for this project was conducted virtually. During the meeting, the project overview was discussed and analysed, as well as the importance of visualisation for the materials of this project. The first tasks were discussed further and set so as to proceed with gathering information from each partner country to begin the research.
